Android vs Windows Phone 7 vs iOS boot time comparison

Zollotech has uploaded a video on Youtube comparing the boot time of an Android phone (Motorola Droid X), a Windows Phone 7 phone (HTC HD7), and an Apple iOS phone. All 3 of them have similar specifications. What is done in this test is that the boot time is noted and compared for all 3 phones. Boot time is taken to be the time when the logo appears till when the lock screen appears.

Windows Phone 7 won the challenge. HTC HD7 took 26 seconds to boot, while Droid and IPhone took 33 and 35 seconds respectively.

The shut down time were’nt compared, but Android took much longer time to shut down than the other two. Also, they call WP7 the ‘politest’ as it says ‘Good Bye’ when it shuts down.
