How to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S I9003 to Gingerbread?

Samsung Galaxy S I9003 owners are eagerly waiting for the Gingerbread update. But their is still no official update available for I9003.

However, you can get the update on your device. How to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S I9003 to Gingerbread?t. Here’s how to do this -

1. First of all, you need to download ODIN and the ROM for Galaxy S Gingerbread. Here are the download links :

2. Once you have downloaded Odin, run it.

3. Check Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.

4. Click PIT button and select latona_20110114.pit

5. Put your phone into Download mode by pressing Volume down + OK + Power.

6. Connect the USB cable and the program will detect the phone’s Com number.

7. Click Start button to download the PIT file to phone.

8. When the download completes, Click on Reset button and unselect Re-Partition.

9. Click PDA button and select I9003xxxxx-xxx…-PDA-low-CL890053.tar.md5

10. Click PHONE button and select MODEM_I9003xxxxx_REV_00_CL889972.tar.md5

11. Click CSC button and select GT-I9003-CSC-xxxxxx.tar.md5

12. Remove the battery, and then put the device into Download Mode again, as told in the 5th step.

13. Click Start button to flash these files to phone.

14. You will see PASS on the program window. Just restore factory settings using recovery.

You have upgraded your Galaxy S I9003 from Froyo to Gingerbread!

I Upgraded my Samsung S i9003 it completed successfuly but after the process my camera is not responsing… Does any one has any solution ofr this?
