IPad to launch in India on Jan 28?

The world is expecting IPad 2 ‘s launch this year. However, India is still to see IPad.

However, Telegraph Kolkata has reported that Apple IPad will be launching in India on 28th January,2011.

According to the report, Apple will be selling both the Wi-Fi version as well as Wi-Fi+3G version of the tablet starting next week and the pricing details is as follows:

• Apple iPad Wi-Fi: Rs 26,000- Rs 37,000 depending on the capacity of the tablet (16GB, 32GB and 64GB).
• Apple iPad Wi-Fi + 3G: Rs 33,000-Rs 44,000 depending on the capacity of the tablet (16GB, 32GB and 64GB).

• 1 GHz Apple A4 processor
• 16-64GB of flash storage
• Bluetooth 2.1
• Wi-Fi 802.11n
• Fully multi touch UI
• Accelerometer and Compass
• 3G UMTS/HSPDA and GSM/EDGE data (optional)
• AGPS and Digital Compass(for 3G only)
• 9.7 inch IPS LED backlit LCD
• VGA out support or AV out via dock connector and converter cable
• 3.5 mm audio jack
• 10 hours battery life
