LG Optimus 3D unveiled at the MWC 2011, Optimus 3D specs and review
LG has unveiled it’s first 3D enabled at Mobile World Congress, LG Optimus 3D.Yes, it’s true. We have a 3D phone now!
Are you thinking that you need some 3D content and pair of compatible glasses to experience it. Well, LG Optimus Pad provides both of them – it comes with a special kind of screen which removes the need of any glasses, and the ability to record 3D videos.
The Optimus 3D has an auto-stereoscopic screen, which makes it possible to watch 3D content an the phone. The drawback of this parallax 3D technology is that the screen resolution drops significantly when 3D effect is on. Otherwise, the screen resolution is impressive.
The phone has two cameras, you can shoot 3D videos at 2MP and normal 2D videos at 5 MP. But, the front camera is not 3D.
A big drawback of LG Optimus 3D is it’s OS, it runs on Froyo! We hope it gets a Gingerbread update, though there is no such information till now.
