Nokia device to run on Windows phone 7?
There are rumours that Nokia is in talks with Microsoft to adopt Windows phone 7 OS. There have been rumours earlier about Nokia adopting third party OS. However, Nokia has always said that it won’t switch to Android, or any other OS, and will stick to Symbian and Meego. But, seeing that there last few symbian devices have not been very successful, Nokia may have considered to adopt a third party OS. Nokia’s new ceo Stephen Elop who was a former Microsoft employee may be driving force behind this decision, if it is true.
If Nokia is actually planning to launch a device with Windows Phone 7, then it would be a treat for smartphone consumers, particularly those who are Nokia devices fans. There is no doubt that Nokia devices are the best out of all (if we ignore the shortcomings of their Symbian OS,). And a Nokia device running on Windows Phone 7 will surely be a smartphone to watch out for. Let’s see what happens…
