Samsung Galaxy Note – The first 5 inch smartphone

Samsung Galaxy Note is the latest smartphone in the Galaxy series of Samsung, and is the world’s first phone providing a screen over 5 inches, but it’s not a tablet, it’s a smartphone. It has a 5.3 inches capacitive touchscreen, which makes it bigger than the normal phones. It can be considered to be a new kind of device, something between a smartphone and a tablet.

Galaxy Note runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, powered by a 1400 MHz processor, has a 8 MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary camera. And it comes with a stylus.

    • Forgot to mention in the article…it uses a Lithium ion 2500 mAh battery, which is quite powerful…provides average talk time of about 13 hours and stand by time of 570 hours.
